Performance Incentives*

$600 bonus after 6 months

$800 bonus after 12 months

As a youth mentor at Oxbow Academy, you will create a secure and supervised atmosphere where young individuals can embark on their healing journey.

Students at Oxbow Academy often face complex challenges that can lead to significant anxiety and feelings of shame. Our mission is to restore hope, rebuild trust, and assist these young men and their families in moving forward.

In your role as a mentor, you will offer hope to families, ensuring their sons are in a safe environment where healing can commence. This position provides valuable experience in behavioral and mental health, particularly in working with adolescents. You will engage in enriching activities that foster genuine, healthy relationships, which are crucial to the healing process. The bonds formed with mentors are often transformative and essential for meaningful change, creating the necessary safety to take the first steps toward recovery.

Qualifications

Ensure your resume includes education, work history, certifications, and licenses.

  • Must be 20 years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must pass a motor vehicle record check (if applicable)
  • Current Utah driver's license required (within 30 days of employment)
  • 1st Aid & CPR certification (training may be provided)
  • Aegis certification (training may be provided)
