Procurement Specialist

USA Automotive Partners is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to join our Supply Chain Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all activities related to the planning and procurement of raw materials and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct activities related to the purchasing function, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and components.
- Assign inventory part numbers to open sales orders and maintain accurate product specification files for all new or revised products/materials.
- Design, implement, and manage purchasing reporting systems to meet organizational requirements, providing insights into inventory levels, costs, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and verify purchasing records, including items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
- Establish and participate in inventory count cycles, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
- Purchase the highest quality products and services at the lowest possible price, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor material history reports to determine projected re-order points, ensuring timely replenishment of inventory.
- Compile records of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries, and inventories, providing valuable insights for business decisions.
- Expedite delivery of goods to users, communicating with vendors for estimated/requested ship dates for ordered products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, materials management, or equivalent purchasing experience desired.
- Minimum experience desired is 5-7 years in materials management or purchasing.
- ISM Certification preferred.
- Must maintain 100% of all factory-required training, including being 100% compliant within the first 30 days.
