Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with our clients, implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs as designed by BCBAs
  • Engaging in developmentally appropriate play skills with clients
  • Collecting accurate data on a daily basis
  • Collaborating with the clinical team
  • Providing a fun and enriched environment for clients
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the therapy location
  • Adhering to company policies and administrative duties
  • Promoting CCBS mission and philosophies, generating team spirit, and creating a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation and driving up to 40 miles a day between appointments
  • Available from 3:30PM-6:30PM Monday-Friday
  • Able to engage in a physically demanding job
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license
  • Clear TB test
  • Completed immunization sequences

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • RBT certified (will provide paid certification training)
  • Positive past experience with children, preferably those with developmental delays or disorders

Physical Demands:

Work Environment:

  • Diverse staff and clientele
  • Treatment occurs in clinics, client homes, and/or the community
  • Comfortable environment for staff, children, and caregivers
