Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and room patients, ensuring efficient patient flow and a positive experience.
  • Update patient medical charts with accurate and timely documentation, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Manage phone triage, taking appropriate action under the direction of our providers and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Administer treatments and procedures as directed by our physicians, demonstrating technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Provide patient education and personal care, acknowledging physiological and psychological needs to ensure patient comfort and well-being.
  • Process prescription refills under the direction of our providers, following clinic protocol and maintaining accurate records.
  • Demonstrate positive interpersonal relationships with fellow employees, managers, and providers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Take direction and initiate actions to ensure cross-functional duties are completed, promoting seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Follow safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and state health department guidelines, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant, with Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) certification preferred.
  • Medical Assistant experience and knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
