Aequor Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position. This role involves providing care in an outpatient community health center setting.
Position Details:
We are looking for a physician to cover a site for a duration of 3 months, with potential for extension. Candidates must possess an active medical license and a clean malpractice history.
Compensation:
The compensation package includes a negotiable hourly rate, along with coverage for travel, lodging, and medical malpractice insurance (with tail).
Work Schedule:
The work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Practice Setting:
This position is based in an outpatient ambulatory environment, focusing on a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Physicians will perform essential procedures including:
- Injections
- IUD placements
- Minor wound care
Expected patient volume is up to 18 patients per day.
Technology:
The electronic medical record system in use is EPIC.
Credentialing:
The credentialing process typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. Candidates must have a clean background and an active medical license.
