Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

At Synerfac, we are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment and machines within all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on all equipment
  • Assist with all reactive/repair maintenance
  • Operate shop equipment, including drill presses, band saws, and bench grinders
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Assist with new equipment installations
  • Provide assistance to coworkers as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Apprentice
  • Technical schooling strongly preferred
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
  • Plan, lead, and execute preventative maintenance according to the PM schedule
  • Operate a forklift as needed
