Job Summary:
- Participate in a patient-focused team approach to deliver direct and collaborative healthcare services in various clinical settings, promoting optimal health across the lifespan.
- Perform a range of technical, para-professional, rehabilitative, or therapeutic procedures and activities related to patient care, in accordance with established policies and procedures, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care and support.
- Conduct various technical and rehabilitative procedures, such as vital sign measurements, wound care, and mobility assistance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Patient Care Technician Certification from the National Health Career Association (N.H.A.) is required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS).
- Minimum of one year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred.
