Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Aveanna is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients in their homes.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes assessing patient condition and care needs, documenting all activities and nursing actions, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Assess patient condition and care needs, and document all activities and nursing actions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and progress.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
Environment:
  • Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
