About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cocktail Server to join our team at Boomtown Casino Biloxi. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to guests, using their name and addressing their needs promptly.
  • Resolve service problems efficiently and effectively, in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Serve as an ambassador of goodwill, representing the company at customer and public relations functions.
  • Promote casino events and programs to guests, ensuring they are aware of available options.
  • Provide fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to guests, carrying full trays on every round.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol, intervening as needed according to guidelines.
  • Take drink orders, communicate with bartenders, assist in drink preparation, and present drinks to guests.
  • Handle money according to procedure, ensuring accurate transactions and maintaining a secure environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, including beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisors, and slots supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked workstation, adhering to company standards.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
  • Read, write legibly, understand, and speak English fluently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Count money and change correctly, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients is necessary.
  • Available to work a required schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Meet professional appearance standards, as prescribed by company policy.
  • Physically mobile, with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to lift and carry 20 pounds for extended periods.
  • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environments.
