About the Role

Huntington Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Central Service Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our Central Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care by processing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including sterilizers and autoclaves
  • Inspect and clean medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
  • Assemble and package medical instruments and equipment for use in patient care
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years' experience in central service or surgical technology required
  • Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology required
