Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Envelope Project Manager to join our team at The Falcon Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and rehabilitation of existing buildings, with a focus on building envelope and structural systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess building conditions and identify areas for repair or rehabilitation.
  • Develop and implement repair and rehabilitation designs, including specifications and calculations as needed.
  • Coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure project plans and timelines are met.
  • Prepare technical reports and written correspondence to communicate project status and findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, including records, files, and photos, to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting or construction industry.
  • Certifications: Engineers-in-Training (EIT) or Architects in Training (AIT) preferred.
  • OSHA-10 Certification preferred.
  • Valid United States Driver's License required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and construction manuals.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to recognize typical building envelope and/or structural issues from visual site observations and report such findings in a technical style for presentation to clients.
