This role entails the design and programming of electrical control systems utilized in various machinery manufactured by Selectek.

The ideal candidate will possess the capability to generate electrical schematics with AutoCAD, prepare bills of materials, and develop control programs using ladder logic, as well as create graphical interface applications.

The primary focus will be on the design and development of control systems using Allen Bradley and/or Siemens technologies. This position operates under general supervision and involves interaction with clients through various communication channels.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience in controls programming.
At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in controls programming with Allen Bradley PLCs.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in systems design related to Allen Bradley control panels, including panel design and bill of materials.
Knowledge of industrial controls, including sensors, AC and/or DC drives, and servo controllers.
Familiarity with Siemens S7-300 and/or S7-1500 PLCs and Siemens Comfort Panel HMI programming is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical control systems and software applications for control panels used in Selectek's equipment.
- Oversee the progress of control system development for assigned projects.
- Uphold the established design standards within the department.

- Provide technical support and consultation to assist the sales team during proposal or quotation development.

- Offer technical assistance to Field Service Engineers.
- Contribute to maintaining Selectek's industry leadership in product performance, service, and value.
- Assist in the mechanical assembly of components and equipment.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations to identify and prepare necessary components for equipment or sub-assemblies using established methods.
- Communicate engineering change requirements through Engineering Change Requests.
