At HomeGoods, we're always looking for talented individuals to join our team as Key Carriers. As a Key Carrier, you'll alternate between Coordinator and Key Carrier roles, taking on leadership responsibilities to maintain the store's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies
  • Act as Manager on Duty, ensuring store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan
  • Address customer service issues, provide coaching to Associates, and exercise discretion regarding customer service policies
  • Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
  • Ensure Associates adhere to operational procedures and execute opening/closing procedures according to company guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, providing progress updates and feedback
  • Provide recognition and coaching to Associates, and partner with Management on Associate training needs
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promote credit and loyalty programs
  • Support shrink reduction goals and programs, and promote safety awareness and a safe environment

Requirements:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Team player with effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures, as well as merchandise flow in stores
  • Proven problem-solving skills, ability to coach and delegate, and act quickly under challenging circumstances
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience

Compensation:

This position has a starting pay range of $17.00 to $17.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
