Role Summary:

The Commercial Portfolio Manager for Credit Products plays a pivotal role in managing the commercial credit process. This position is client-facing and involves collaboration with relationship managers to implement the Bank's loan origination strategy. The Portfolio Manager engages directly with clients and prospects to create tailored financing solutions that meet their borrowing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of the Bank's commercial loan origination strategy by engaging with clients and prospects to devise optimal financing solutions.
  • Conduct underwriting, structuring, and documentation for complex client transactions, focusing on high-value relationships.
  • Oversee the assigned portfolio by analyzing performance trends, proactively identifying credit solutions, and managing risk.
  • Ensure compliance with all credit process metrics and regulatory requirements.
  • Authorize interim funding requests for managed relationships within established limits.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in commercial underwriting.
  • Expert-level knowledge of financial analysis, including cash flow and financial statement evaluation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of a corporate credit training program or equivalent experience in corporate banking or finance.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
