Mammography Imaging Services

Ascension Providence is seeking a skilled Mammography Imaging Specialist to provide high-quality imaging services to our patients. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for operating equipment and performing various mammography-related procedures. You will also be responsible for preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately, and explaining procedures to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography imaging services to patients
• Operate equipment and perform various mammography-related procedures
• Prepare and position patients, and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
• Explain procedures to patients and educate them about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiology credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Completion of a federally approved 40 hour mammography training course within 3 months of hire and completion of 25 supervised mammography studies to meet Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) requirements
