Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Waco, Texas

Shift: Variable Shifts

Shifts per Week: 4

Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Rate: Up to $33 per hour

Job Overview:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiology procedures, ensuring the safety of patients and staff, and maintaining imaging equipment. This is a flexible position with various shifts available, including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct radiology procedures following exam protocols in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring they are comfortable.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment, reporting issues to management.
  • Follow safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety measures.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation, including requisition/chart and medical imaging records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new team members, offering training and support.
