Fleming County Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Nurse/RN/LPN/CNA to join our team. As a key member of our health services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Health Services Coordination: Administer first aid and nursing care for students, conduct health screenings, and maintain accurate student medical records.
- Student Health Support: Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and school staff on health-related issues, and make referrals to community health agencies as needed.
- Health Education and Training: Conduct training sessions for students, parents, and school staff on health-related topics, and develop programs to promote student health and wellness.
- Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for students, and ensure compliance with established laws and regulations.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other school staff to ensure seamless delivery of health services.
- Education and Certification: Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and one (1) year comprehensive nursing experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
