Job Summary

Strategic Systems is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team in the fabrication of tank trailer parts. The ideal candidate will have experience operating burn tables, seamers, brake presses, band saws, and other equipment used in metal fabrication.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating and maintaining fabrication equipment, including burn tables, seamers, and brake presses.
  • Preparing and running complex bend setups and forming operations.
  • Programming and operating press brakes, including bending at angles, step bends, and back gauge transfers.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and geometric tolerances.
  • Working in a team environment to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6+ months of experience in metal fabrication preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of welding and metalworking a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Ability to bend, twist, climb, crawl, and stoop repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • 100% of time spent in a factory environment with noise, dust, and mechanical operations.
