Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scripted interviews with patients to obtain their current medication lists, including prescription and non-prescription medications.
  • Verify medication lists with a second source, such as a hospital pharmacist or MMC-approved resource.
  • Accurately document patient medication lists and allergy information in the Cerner Health Information System.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve medication discrepancies and ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of six months experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to input data accurately and efficiently into the Cerner Health Information System.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
