Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Technician to join our team at Kendall Vegetation Services. As a key member of our fleet operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage work orders, scheduling maintenance and repairs for our fleet.
  • Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including tune-ups, engine overhauls, and hydraulic system repairs.
  • Operate and maintain various hand, power, and shop tools and equipment, including lathes, welding equipment, and engine analyzers.
  • Inspect and fuel generators for water and wastewater operations.
  • Order and procure parts, inspecting them for accuracy and condition, and ensuring timely payment processing.
  • Conduct inspections and repairs in the field, ensuring safety rules and regulations are adhered to.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED and successful completion of an accredited program in vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • 2-3 years of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and CDL preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with repairing specialty equipment, such as Jarraffs.
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics, record keeping practices, and computer applications related to the work.
