Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Amentum. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including programmable controllers and process controllers.
  • Use diagnostic programs and sequence methods to determine the nature of malfunctions and fault indications.
  • Locate and repair malfunctions in electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
  • Perform functional tests in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
  • Maintain and repair special purpose hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, couplings, and valves.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum three years actual and recent Industrial Electrical experience required.
  • Valid Journeyman level Electrician license required.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical publications related to electronics maintenance.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English.
Work Environment

The work environment is moderately lighted, heated, and ventilated, with exposure to disagreeable fumes and hazards of moving vehicles. The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently lifts items weighing 40-45 pounds and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds.
