Job Overview

Mercy Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Gig Nursing Program.

This is a per diem/flex position that offers flexibility in day/night shifts and variable hours.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bedside nursing and be able to commit to working flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting
  • Work flexible hours, including day and night shifts
  • Participate in the Gig Nursing Program, which requires scheduling a minimum number of hours and being available on short notice
Requirements
  • One (1) year of recent bedside LPN experience in Med Surg
  • Two (2) years of recent bedside LPN experience in other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
  • Graduate of a practical nursing program
  • Current LPN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
