Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join their clinical nutrition team at UNC Health Johnston Clayton Facility. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and interventions to patients and their families.

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments, including nutrition support, education, and counseling patients and their families.
• Provide education to patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals, and work collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.
• Maintain responsibility for creative problem-solving, working independently with minimal supervision, and making decisions within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment.
• Develop and implement effective nutrition care plans, and provide ongoing support and education to patients and their families.

• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision.
