Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team in Lahaina, Hawaii.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires a Master's degree in social work from an accredited college or university, passing score on the clinical level national board examination, and supervised clinical social work training, as required by Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) 467E-7.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services: Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with mental health conditions, including individuals, families, groups, and intensive outpatient programs.
- Conduct Social Work Consultation: Assist with administration, development, implementation, and evaluation of social work programs and policies.
- Provide Psychotherapy and Counseling: Utilize evidence-based interventions and modalities to provide psychotherapy and counseling services to patients.
- Assess and Manage Urgent or High-Risk Situations: Assess urgent or high-risk clinical situations and make appropriate interventions, including referrals to psychiatrists or other clinicians.
- Coordinate Referrals and Services: Coordinate referrals to other healthcare services, including hospital admissions and specialized facilities.
- Maintain Clinical Records: Document clinical assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and other pertinent information in patient medical records.
- Participate in Clinical Team Meetings: Participate in clinical team meetings, departmental planning, and quality management activities.
- Master's Degree in Social Work: From an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Hawaii): Current licensure in good standing.
- Basic Life Support: Certification from the American Heart Association.
- National Provider Identifier: Required at hire.
- Experience in Providing Behavioral Health Services: In a primary care setting, with a focus on evidence-based treatment.
- Knowledge of Current Clinical Conditions and Methods: Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical conditions, methods, medications, theoretical frameworks, and interventions.
