Electric Engineering Division
Salary Range:
Minimum: $103,640.00
Maximum: $159,346.50
Job Responsibilities:
This position entails executing engineering designs and associated tasks for electric utility distribution and transmission systems. You may also be tasked with design work within electric utility substations, alongside responsibilities in protection and control coordination, as well as distribution and transmission planning.
Key Duties:
1. Conduct engineering analyses, specifications, and reports for complex projects.
2. Supervise and evaluate the performance of engineering staff and consultants.
3. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to address critical engineering issues.
4. Serve as a technical expert in advanced engineering theories and practices.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required, along with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience. A valid State of Florida Professional Engineer license may be necessary.
Work Environment:
This role may involve outdoor tasks under varying climatic conditions and requires physical strength and agility to perform essential functions safely.
