Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple construction initiatives or a single large-scale project. This role involves ensuring seamless coordination among various stakeholders, including architects, construction managers, subcontractors, and internal teams, while fostering strong business relationships and focusing on team development.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Oversight:
Develop and implement execution plans for each project, creating a clear roadmap for success with the project team. Regularly prepare Executive Summary Reports to communicate project priorities and challenges to the executive team, along with recommended actions.
- Preconstruction Support:
Collaborate with the Preconstruction Team to assist in initial client submissions and project development, including the creation of conceptual schedules, scopes of work, and constructability assessments.
- Schedule Management:
Assist in developing the initial project schedule and ensure timely updates are communicated to all stakeholders. Direct the overall project timeline and deliverables, while addressing any impacts to the schedule as necessary.
- Legal and Risk Management:
Oversee risk management strategies for assigned projects, identifying and mitigating potential risks while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance and Safety:
Work closely with project managers and field superintendents to uphold quality control standards and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Team Development:
Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a positive team environment and supporting individual career growth.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business.
- At least 15 years of relevant construction experience, including leadership roles.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams while building strong client relationships.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity to make informed decisions.
- High energy, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, P6, Procore, and Bluebeam.
