About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Registered Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma from an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred or currently enrolled in a BSN program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Specialized certifications in neonatal resuscitation and The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program.
  • At least one year of NICU experience, with a strong preference for those with more experience.
