NICU RN PRN

As a NICU Registered Nurse PRN at AdventHealth, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of compassion, empathy, and respect.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
Requirements
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred or currently enrolled in BSN program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum 1-year NICU experience strongly preferred.
- Current BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Specialized certifications in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program and Neonatal Resuscitation.
