Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammographer-Imaging Casual Days to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing mammography exams, ensuring accurate and timely results, and providing excellent patient care. As a casual employee, you will work on an as-needed basis to provide coverage at our outpatient locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic procedures
  • Ensure accurate and timely results, maintaining high-quality images and reports
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and results
  • Position patients to achieve optimal image quality
  • Operate imaging equipment, maintaining proper technique and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards
Requirements:
  • ARRT Registry in Mammography, IEMA
  • 40 hours of advanced training in an MQSA-approved program with 50 supervised exams in mammography
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent
  • BLS through American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
