Nursing Director

Triboro Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our skilled nursing facility in the Bronx, NY.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance
- Oversee the hiring and development of nursing staff to ensure adequate staffing and skill levels
- Ensure nursing staff conduct is in line with facility standards
- Stay informed about facility incidents and assess resident health needs
- Current New York State RN license
- Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term care
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Prior DON experience is preferred
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
Triboro Center is a 405-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in the Bronx. Our facility provides a warm and nurturing environment, allowing residents to maintain their individuality. The Director of Nursing assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of Nursing services in the facility. In collaboration with Administration, the DON ensures that the facility is in compliance with all Department of Health regulations and passes the annual survey process.
