As a key member of our Field Operations Centers, you will play a crucial role in supporting our drivers and operators by ensuring they have clear revenue expectations, resolving their operational queries and concerns, and conducting thorough follow-ups after orientation sessions to identify and meet their ongoing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish revenue expectations with drivers and operators.
  • Provide solutions for drivers and operators' questions, problems, and concerns.
  • Conduct orientation follow-ups with drivers and operators to determine their needs.
  • Work directly with driver advisors in managing and providing first contact and review information.
  • Update contractor, tractor, and operator files in iSeries 400, as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between new drivers and operators and their advisors and CABS.
  • Emphasize the importance of Landstar's tools, including Landstaronline.com, Load Alerts, Lane Match, IVR cards, Profit & Loss, and load search apps.
  • Coordinate with orientation coordinators to recommend changes to orientation and CABS programs.
  • Perform as a backup for orientation and CABS coordinators, including class instruction, contract renewal, and hazmat recertification.
  • Handle incoming visits and calls from drivers and operators.
  • Actively participate in weekly orientation retention calls.
  • Special projects and assignments as needed.
  • Perform Hours of Service Review with drivers as needed.
  • Facilitate problem-solving between agents and drivers.
  • Participate in safety meetings, which may be held during non-business hours or on-site as needed.
  • Assist safety in the operation and coordination of the driver simulator program.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a professional office environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the transportation industry.
