Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Worker Lead to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of food preparation, portioning meals, and serving our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of food items for the day, ensuring accurate portioning and quality control.
  • Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
  • Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining daily temperature logs and ensuring accurate disposal of waste.
  • Alert management to any quality control issues and pull food items that do not meet expectations.
  • Complete opening and closing station checklists, ensuring all work areas and serving utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Greet customers and handle any complaints in a professional and positive manner.
  • Coordinate and assist in maintaining a clean work station, including floors, work areas, equipment, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
  • Assist with daily safety observations and report any safety hazards to management immediately.
  • Cross-train in areas as needed and perform tasks as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Serve Safe Certification.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Food Service Experience preferred.
  • Ability to work inside kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals, and other at-risk conditions.
