Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team at Lake Land College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in discipline areas as assigned by the respective Associate Dean.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach in discipline areas as assigned by the Associate Dean
  • Develop and implement instructional materials, including course syllabi and assessments
  • Evaluate and assess student performance
  • Comply with Illinois Department of Corrections regulations and procedures
  • Maintain accurate student records and submit required documentation
  • Remain current with content, technology, and instructional methods and strategies in the discipline
  • Maintain regular communication with the Associate Dean
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in the discipline
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours of work experience in the field
  • Demonstrated ability to learn Lake Land College information systems and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to various academic levels and learning styles
