Key Responsibilities:
- Report any defective or malfunctioning resident call lights, light bulbs, and other lighting fixtures to the supervisor without delay.
- Clean and maintain furnishings, fixtures, ledges, and heating/cooling units in resident rooms, recreational areas, dining spaces, nursing stations, break rooms, and other facility areas.
Bathroom Maintenance:
- Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and polish bathroom fixtures while removing water marks.
- Clean windows, drapes, privacy curtains, and mirrors in all areas, including resident rooms and bathrooms.
Carpet Care:
- Vacuum, deodorize, and disinfect carpets to ensure a clean environment.
Floor Maintenance:
- Sweep, dust, damp mop, strip, wax, buff, and disinfect floors as needed.
Wall and Ceiling Cleaning:
- Wash, wipe, dust, spot clean, disinfect, and deodorize walls and ceilings.
- Maintain a safe work environment by keeping areas free of hazards, spills, and clutter.
- Properly dispose of waste and trash, ensuring receptacles are lined with plastic liners.
- Adhere to established infection control protocols and fire safety procedures.
- Ensure that work areas are clean and that all equipment and supplies are stored appropriately during work hours and breaks.
- Report any lost and found items to the supervisor promptly.
- Set up appropriate safety signs before commencing cleaning tasks.
Work Schedule:
- Day shift from 6 AM to 2 PM or 7 AM to 3 PM, Full-Time.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred for this position.
