Ambulatory Care Nurse Infusion Specialist

At WakeMed, we are seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Care Nurse Infusion to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide exceptional patient care through the administration and monitoring of infusion therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with practice management and clinical supervisors to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies.
- Administer and monitor infusion therapy services within the infusion suite, adhering to hospital and WakeMed Physician Practices policies and procedures, standards of care, standing orders, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Support the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices, understanding the needs of the organization and promoting a culture of excellence.
- 3 years of experience in a nursing-related area, with 3 years of clinical infusion therapy experience preferred.
- 3 years of oncology experience preferred.
- Graduate nursing degree required, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure required, with Certified Registered Nurse Intravenous and Oncology Certified Nurse certifications preferred.
(3) 8-hour shifts per week, 8am-4:30pm, with no weekend requirements and no call requirements.
