About the Role

The Transportation Compliance & Asset Coordinator will work closely with the Transportation Manager, providing essential metrics to central office and business unit leaders. This role emphasizes customer service and data management, operating from our designated facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on fines, penalties, inspections, condition reports, on-time performance, hours worked, missed stops, gallons transported, and other vital bulk metrics.
  • Manage IFTA fuel tax reporting, including:
    • Quarterly IFTA reports
    • Quarterly filings for NY Hut
    • Quarterly filings for KY
    • Quarterly Comdata reports
    • Quarterly Trip reports
  • Support truck registration processes.
  • Oversee rolling stock inventory management.
  • Compile monthly tractor leasing reports.
  • Facilitate onsite fuel processing on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Process weekly fuel delivery tickets and invoices.
  • Generate fuel reports for various facilities.
  • Handle permit renewals and track hours of service.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a transportation department within a trucking company, focusing on hazardous material permits, vehicle licensing, driver ELD systems, and registrations.
  • Proven track record of excellence in customer service, particularly in communication.
  • Experience in scheduling within a dynamic, client-focused environment in transportation, manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple offsite locations to gather data and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Proficient in operating various office equipment, including personal computers, email, scanners, and specialized business software. Must be skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ELD platforms.
  • High level of professional maturity with experience in handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
