About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Solution Analyst II to join our Workplace Benefits IT division. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to focus on vendor solutions and bridge the gap between our administration staff and IT partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advance knowledge on technology tools as needed.
  • Troubleshoot tools and issues, perform system configurations, upgrades, and testing validation work.
  • Learn about reliability and security of tools.
  • Understand and practice strong data management in tools: data privacy, integrity & protection, recovery, maintenance and security.
  • Partner with team on quality of configuration change being released - ideally would be done with automation where possible.
  • Fulfill requests using specific technology skill and tool(s) trained on.
  • Work with other team members to increase understanding of work.
  • Partner to complete prioritized features/stories.

Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelors degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) or 1+ years of technical experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred.
  • Technical curiosity or understanding of technology.
  • Excellent planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required.
  • May be required to provide on-call support.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Compass preferred.
  • Ability to obtain certification(s) in an IT-related field.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UNIX and or scripting a plus.
  • Desire to learn new technologies.
