Position Overview

This is an entry-level management role focused on facilitating the daily operations of Rooms Services, which encompasses areas such as Housekeeping, Recreation, and Guest Services. The individual in this position will work closely with team members to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures while upholding the highest cleanliness standards throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing Front Desk and Housekeeping shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed according to established checklists.
  • Review and analyze critical reports related to room operations.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the various functions within Recreation, Laundry, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.
  • Ensure that all departments are equipped with the necessary supplies and uniforms.
  • Understand night audit processes and utilize reports effectively.
  • Communicate performance expectations clearly to team members.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Schedule staff effectively to meet business demands and monitor attendance.

Financial Management

  • Supervise same-day selling procedures to optimize room revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Verify room rates to ensure revenue maximization.
  • Utilize budgets and payroll reports to assist in managing Room Operations.
  • Contribute to the management of departmental expenses to meet or exceed budget goals.
  • Understand the impact of Room Operations on overall financial objectives.

Guest Experience Management

  • Assist in investigating incidents involving guests and employees.
  • Utilize guest information systems to enhance repeat guest recognition.
  • Set a positive example in guest relations.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback on service quality and address any issues promptly.
  • Review guest satisfaction results with team members to identify areas for improvement.
