Job OverviewPosition Title: Production Associate

As a Production Associate, you will join a vibrant production team dedicated to quality and efficiency. Your role will involve monitoring a conveyor system and handling wood slabs that have undergone prior quality assessment. You will be responsible for sorting and stacking these slabs according to their designated grades, ensuring they are properly aligned with the material handling equipment. This position requires the ability to lift and maneuver items weighing between 20-30 pounds regularly.

This is an on-site role located in a dynamic production facility.

Work Conditions

The production environment is lively and subject to seasonal changes. Expect warm temperatures during summer months and cooler conditions in winter, with heating available for comfort. The workspace is equipped with fans and industrial HVAC systems to manage air circulation and sawdust, resulting in a dusty and aromatic atmosphere. You will collaborate with a team of approximately 40 colleagues operating two distinct production machines. Standard working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime extending to 3:30 PM during peak production periods. Weekend work is infrequent, occurring only a few times annually. The dress code is casual, allowing for jeans and t-shirts, while steel-toed boots are mandatory. All other necessary Personal Protective Equipment, including safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves, will be provided.
