Job Title: Radiology Technologist Lead

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a Radiology Technologist Lead to join our Diagnostic Radiology team in Oklahoma City, OK.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist Lead will work weekends, supervising staff and ensuring proper staffing levels for the areas of assigned supervision. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve errors in Radiology reports and patient exam orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure and oversee proper staffing levels for the areas of assigned supervision and make adjustments as required for absenteeism, vacation, and workload variables.
  • Supervise the technical staff and provide input for annual performance evaluations of assigned staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors in Radiology reports and patient exam orders, correcting orders when necessary.
  • Ensure the quality of the radiographs presented to the Radiologists meet the standards set forth by the Radiology Department.
  • Coordinate the repair of malfunctioning equipment and maintenance within the department.
  • Provide leadership in the area of Patient and Physician Satisfaction.
  • Assist in the selection and hiring of new employees in their area of supervision.
Requirements:
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).
