Position Summary:
The Clinical Pharmacist at Moffitt Cancer Center plays a crucial role in the fight against cancer. This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients, ensuring optimal medication use and providing treatment recommendations in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medication order reviews, ensuring appropriateness based on individual patient factors.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of medications, ensuring safety and compliance with established protocols.
  • Engage in the development and presentation of educational programs and guidelines related to medication use.
  • Provide educational support to patients, families, healthcare providers, and pharmacy trainees.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have completed a PGY-1 Residency or have a minimum of three years of experience in a progressive institutional pharmacy setting. Previous experience in oncology pharmacy is highly desirable.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.
  • Active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
