Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure constant supervision of children, maintaining a safe environment in compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Design and implement lesson plans and activities aimed at supporting children's intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development.
  • Establish daily routines that encourage positive social skills and behaviors among children.
  • Provide necessary care for children, including assistance with hygiene, potty training, and first aid.
  • Utilize a diverse range of teaching strategies and resources (such as outdoor activities, arts and crafts, storytelling, and games) to enhance children's skills and capabilities.
  • Assess children's developmental milestones to ensure they are on an appropriate learning trajectory.
  • Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and behavior.
  • Encourage cooperative interactions and promote kindness and respect among children.
  • Identify behavioral issues and collaborate with parents and colleagues to address these concerns effectively.
  • Prepare all necessary materials for care, activities, and educational experiences.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 90-hour childcare certification.
  • Prior experience in childcare or teaching is preferred.
  • Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Training in First Aid, CPR, and Basic Health and Safety can be provided if necessary (annual training maintenance of 12 hours is required).
  • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, bend, and reach as needed to engage and play with children; must be capable of lifting children when necessary.
