Patient Care Technician PT PMS

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Trinity Health Corporation. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care procedures to assist the unit manager, professional staff, and physicians in providing patient care focused on the needs of the patient.
- Meet the comfort and hygiene needs of the patient, including general patient care and technical care.
- Assist with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures, set up and prime IV tubing, 12-lead ECG, simple tracheostomy suctioning and care, changes dressings, performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and obtains wound and throat cultures.
- Assist physician and professional staff in equipment supply and set up, and assist with ambulating patients with assistive devices such as crutches and with transfer/transport procedures.
- Perform required documentation and communicate in a competent and effective manner to meet patient and/or family needs and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
- Minimum Experience: Less than one year of previous job-related experience.
- Licensure/Certifications: Certified Nurse Assistant, BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA.
