Nurse Director Cardiac Cath Lab

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Assistant Director Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in nursing leadership and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Summary:The Assistant Director Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab department, ensuring that all patients receive exceptional care and that the department runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:- Manage the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab department, including supervising staff and ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and to promote optimal patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including coaching, mentoring, and evaluating performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cardiac catheterization and other related fields, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and department operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field.
- A current state or compact nursing license.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a cardiac cath lab or similar setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
