Responsibilities- Provide supervision and guidance to patients in daily activities
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient environment
- Report patient complaints and changes in condition to the Registered Nurse
- Complete necessary paperwork and document patient care
- Implement emergency policies and procedures
- Work with the Nurse Manager and team to structure and monitor the unit milieu
- Participate in training and orientation of new staff members
- Facilitate patient care goals and monitor patient activities
- Perform vital signs, collect urine specimens, and assist with daily living activities
- Understand and follow hospital policies and procedures
- One year of experience in a behavioral health setting or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
