Inspirations of Mount Washington is a senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for our residents.
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to join our team. This role provides an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
Job Summary
The RCA will provide physical and psychosocial care to all residents, promoting dignity, choice, and individuality. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care and services to assigned residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure high-quality care.
- Maintain professional demeanor at all times when interacting with residents and families.
- Report any suspected or witnessed instances of abuse to licensed staff immediately.
- Utilize safe transfer techniques when assisting residents with mobility.
- Wash residents' laundry as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
