Job Description

As an Administrative Assistant 3, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Alaska Workforce Investment Board (AWIB) and working closely with other administrative staff located in both Anchorage and Juneau. This is a key role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Alaska Workforce Investment Board (AWIB)
  • Support AWIB in the areas of travel, procurement, accounting, personnel and general administration
  • Work closely with other administrative staff located in both Anchorage and Juneau
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One year of experience performing journey-level technical duties in one or more administrative functional areas such as human resources, accounting, administration, and procurement
  • Knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs or projects for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
