Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Three Rivers School District. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing specialized services to students with communication disorders.
Job Summary:This position requires a strong background in speech-language pathology, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of communication disorders. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans to support student learning and communication.
Responsibilities:- Screen, evaluate, and identify eligible students for speech and language services
- Design and implement appropriate intervention strategies to support student communication and learning
- Collect and analyze student performance data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement individualized plans to support student learning and communication
- Provide information relative to communication disorders to students, parents, teachers, and community partners
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) or is licensed by Teacher Standards and Practice Commission (TSPC) prior to July 1, 2016
- Valid State of Oregon License appropriate for the position
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Master's required for most State of Oregon licenses)
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in at least one language, two languages preferred but not required
- Proficient in the use of computer and internet-based applications, including but not limited to email and Google applications
- Ability to learn new systems as they are brought online by the District
- Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, and district patrons
The work environment is standard classroom and stage settings. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but occasionally high depending upon student population and activities. Employee may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
