Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, utilizing proper patient positioning, technique selection, and radiation protection devices.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy, cardiac pressure recording, and normal values.
  • Consult with cardiologists and radiologists as necessary, and check consultation requests for special instructions.
  • Develop film in accordance with approved techniques, maintain levels in processor and replenishment tanks, and perform visual preventative safety inspections.
  • Prepare, clean, and disinfect equipment and materials, and report any dangerous conditions.
  • Maintain necessary inventory supplies for assigned rooms, and restock rooms as needed.
  • Pleasantly greet patients, introduce yourself, and confirm patient identity, explaining examination procedures and taking mobile x-ray equipment to patient rooms as necessary.
Requirements
  • Associate in Applied Sciences degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensure in Radiography (L-Radiography) and certification in Radiologic Technology (C-ARRT - RT MR ARRT) preferred.
