Midland (School and Adult Life Programs) is a non-profit organization based in Central NJ that provides a range of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We are currently seeking an experienced LPN to join our team as a Healthcare Specialist. This role is responsible for providing nursing care and support to individuals in community settings.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and must be licensed to practice as an LPN in the State of NJ. The ideal candidate will also have valid NJ Driver's License with a good driving record and be able to lift or assist in lifting disabled adults as medically necessary.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $60,000.00 per year, plus benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, flexible spending account, life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and vision insurance.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing nursing care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Providing education and training to staff on health-related topics
  • Monitoring medication administration and participating in regular pharmacy reviews
